Travellers are surprised at how much there is to enjoy in León: from its Roman origins, its 13th century Gothic cathedral, its royal basilica and collegiate church of San Isidoro to modern times with modernist and contemporary buildings.
But that's not all, we also have palaces from the Renaissance period, today converted into buildings for other uses, such as the magnificent Parador de San Marcos with a spectacular Plateresque façade.
All of this is enhanced by squares, parks, gardens, and streets of exquisite cleanliness to finish with a "vueltina" (stroll) through the famous "barrio húmedo" (wet neighbourhood). A wine, a beer, a tapa is the culmination of a day rich in positive experiences.

In our basic León tour you will be able to know the history of the city without entering any monument. It is undoubtedly the most economical option.
It can be the one we have already designed: Exterior of the Cathedral, Romanesque Quarter, Torres de Omaña Square, San Isidoro Basilica (exterior only), Cid Park, Roman Wall, Guzmanes Palace, Casa Botines, Plaza del Conde Luna, Barrio Humido and Plaza Mayor.

This guided tour is in Spanish and in other languages. The maximum number of participants varies according to the current Covid-19 regulations, so it is advisable to contact us by email or telephone.
Please be punctual, 10 minutes before is enough. If you are late we will contact you by phone.
In Caminosdeleon we are committed to quality tourism so all our guides and collaborators are official tourist guides accredited by the Junta de Castilla y León.
It is suitable for all ages, as it takes place in perfectly conditioned areas. If you come with animals, you will not be able to take them inside the cathedral.

Payment can be made by bank transfer, bizum, paypal or directly in cash at the end of the visit.
Free cancellation can be made by email up to 24 hours before the activity. If you cancel with less time, arrive late or do not show up, no refund will be offered (you can check our conditions of purchase if you have any doubts).
The start of the visit is in front of the entrance door of the Cathedral in the Plaza de Regla, popularly known as Plaza de la Catedral.

The visit is carried out with a system of individual radio-guides throughout the tour, which are completely disinfected before use with specific products in accordance with the recommendations of the Ministry of Health.
COVID-19 MEASURES
Currently the regulations do not oblige to wear a mask outdoors as long as the safety distance is guaranteed, nevertheless from CaminosdeLeon we recommend its use throughout the whole route.
